Robin is an American illustrator and designer. Always found with a sketchbook in hand, Robin has been drawing her way through the world since her youth. Robin got her first taste of commercial design working as a model in the fashion industry in New York City at age 14 . She envied the stylists and designers working to coordinate the photo shoots and runway shows, so from there she set her heart on studying fashion.

After completing her Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising Robin took her artistic talent into children’s wear, spending three years working for the Connecticut based luxury brand Big Enough before moving on to the Dutch brand Oilily, known for their illustrious patterns and prints. Following a move to Boston, a hub of the footwear industry, she launched a fifteen+ year career as a shoe designer. In her positions she traveled the world watching trends and looking for design inspiration, illustrating patterns, designing fabrics, selecting materials, evaluating retail spaces, and overseeing product development and design implementation.  She gained an international perspective, a love of architecture, an eye for color, texture, and space, and a deep understanding of history and culture in art and design. Robin wrote and illustrated her first picture book at the age of 17, and has since illustrated several more titles as well as produced custom art, stationary, soft goods, and branding and marketing materials.

In 2015 Robin’s young family of five took a month-long trip through five countries in the UK and Europe with little more than a backpack each. After delving deep into art, style, culture, sustainability, and togetherness - all with minimal distractions and material goods - she developed a greater appreciation of living simply and with intention which shows through in her designs. When not working she can be found restoring her 1800’s farmhouse, on the yoga mat, mountain biking, hiking, exploring the world, or elbow deep in healthy recipes, all with her three kids, husband, two dogs, and chickens.
